If you're looking for long-term trouble free investments, you have come to the right place!

Since 1960 I have been buying, selling and trading real estate. I was first licensed as a Real Estate Salesman in 1960 and in 1962 I became a Real Estate Broker. I held my Real Estate Broker's license until 1993 at which time I decided, I did not need to be licensed for what I was doing with real estate and I let my license lapse. In the Summer of 2002 I decided to study for and re-take the required exams and was re-licensed as a Real Estate Broker.

Why Real Estate?

In my experience over the last 40+ years, I have never lost money on a property purchased for investment. That includes single family homes, duplexes, apartments, strip shopping centers, big box retail stores, a sale to McDonald's, building an IHOP and currently owning a Petco store in Racine, WI, a Batteries Plus store in Oaklawn, IL, a 31,000 square foot shopping center in Waukesha, a Tires Plus in Noblesville, IN and another Tires in Plus Toledo, OH. I have always liked real estate better than the stock market for a simple reason, there is a degree of control not available with other investment vehicles. As you can see, I am a strong advocate of real estate ownership.

Why Single Tenant Net Leased Real Estate?

Over the years I've come to the conclusion that Single Tenant Net Leased Real Estate is probably the best investment over the long haul. After all the repairs, risk of vacancies and constant remodeling required in other types of property ownership and management if you come out with an 8% or 9% return, you're doing well. You can do as well with a single tenant net leased property. WITHOUT THE HEADACHES! Think about it. It doesn't have the risk of the stock market, the return is better than most bonds and at the end of the lease term, you have a piece of property which should have a value which is current with inflation.
